Since June 2016, Vijetha have been consulting Bhive Workspace in the areas of customer experience and actively working with the core teams on community engagement, events, outreach and building a stronger and supportive startup ecosystem.
As a volunteer with Headstart Network and The Indus Entrepreneur (TIE), supporting and enabling founders, startups to grow is his key passions.
Being a certified mentor through NEN ( National Entrepreneur Network ) he creates sharing platforms to bring startups/ mentors/ successful founders together .
Vijetha possess over 23 years handling challenging assignments in the service industry- Hospitality, retail and travel industry and is committed to building strong teams and achieving win-win goals.
Samira is a serial entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, campaigner, policy advocate and an amateur artist and designer.
She is Managing Director of GIGA TECH (technology company), Founder & Managing Director of TEAM ENGINE (social good company), Chairwoman of INSPIRA ADVISORY & CONSULTING (strategic consultancy company), Partner at TRINITY TECH (cyber security company). She is the second business woman of Bangladesh elected as EC/Director of “Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services -BASIS” (the apex ICT trade-body) for the tenure of 2014-16. Before becoming an entrepreneur, she was Deputy Head of Communications and marketing of BBC Media Action, lead campaigns of UNDP as Communications officer. She has also mentored young entrepreneurs/startups in Malaysia, Brunei, India, USA, Japan and of course Bangladesh.
Throughout her life, she has been passionately introducing many first-of-its kind initiatives, projects and platforms in Bangladesh to enable entrepreneurs, artisan/designers, creative youth, empower women and support policy makers to take timely initiatives and policies. Samira started her career as communications expert in 2005 after graduation but later in 2009 she became an entrepreneur and the journey was never easy.
She has been awarded as “Global Women Leader for Social Development” by World Leadership Congress 2015 for her diversified initiatives for SME, ICT, R&D and Innovation, Health communications, Youth & Women leadership, Culture preservation, Startup till now. Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bangladesh have honoured her as one of the “Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Bangladesh (TOYP) 2015”. She was also listed as “one of the Inspiring individuals to follow in 2015 in Bangladesh”. During her BBC time, her team of BBC JANALA received global award “BBC Reith Award 2010” (best craft category) for extraordinary global innovation in enabling people to learn English language through mobile technology.
As public speaker Samira represents her country, youth and woman of Bangladesh in different events, conferences and summits nationally and internationally. For last 20 years she has been active in Music, Visual art fields as an artist as well.
